Mousy: Let’s go to me now, Froggy!

Froggy: Oh, I want to see your house, Mousy! Let’s go to you!

Froggy and Mousy go through the forest. Froggy moves with his head.

Froggy: I see a deer in the forest there! I see a bear in the forest there! I see a hare and a squirrel

there! There is a hedgehog in the forest!

Mousy: Little Deer and Little Bear and Little Hare and Little Squirrel and the Hedgehog they all

are friends of me!

Froggy: You have got many friends, Mousy!

6. The autumn forest

Froggy: There is a yellow leaf on the road, Mousy!

Mousy: It is autumn, Froggy! The leaves on a tree become red and yellow in autumn.

Froggy: How beautiful!

Mousy: Do you remember, Froggy, what color were the trees in summer?

Froggy: I remember these trees.They were green!

7. The friends get ready for the winter

Mousy: The winter comes soon. Little Deer, Little Bear, Little Hare, Little Squirrel and the

Hedgehog get ready for the winter.

Froggy: How do they get ready for the winter? What are they doing?

Mousy: Little Deer is looking for a new warm house. Little Bear will sleep all the winter. Little

Squirrel and the Hedgehog bring and dry mushrooms and apples.

Froggy: I see a little house there!

Mousy: It is my home! Here you are!

8. At Mousy’s home

Mousy: We have got only jam from strawberry!

Froggy: Strawberry’s jam! I like it very much!

Froggy: It is very tasty, Mousy! Thank you very much!

Mousy: It is too late already, Froggy! Stay here for the night!

Froggy: It would be great!

Mousy: Come to the bedroom. It is your bed, Froggy. Good night!

10. Good morning!

Mousy: Good morning, Froggy! How did you sleep?

Froggy: Good morning, Mousy! I slept very well. I saw a sweet dream.

Mousy: My mother is cooking breakfast for us. Let’s go to the kitchen and help her.

Froggy: What is she cooking?

Mousy: Good morning! What are you cooking, Mum?

Mousy’s mother: Good morning, my dears! I am cooking porridge!

Mousy: How can we help you?

Mousy: I’ll put on the spoons!

Mousy’s mother: And here is jam from berries to porridge! Help yourselves, boys!

Mousy and Froggy: Thanks for the tasty breakfast!

Mousy’s mother: Could you wash your dishes after meal?

Mousy and Froggy: Yes, of course!

12. Go to the shop

Mousy: Mum, can I play with Froggy now?

Mousy’s mother: Yes, my dear! I need cabbige, potatoes, carrot, onion, tomatoes and salt. I will

cook soup for dinner.

Mousy: So much!

13. The Chatty bird

Mousy and Froggy meet a chatty bird in the forest:

Mousy: What do you say, bird?

Froggy: What does she say?

Mousy: I don’t understand what she says.

Chatty bird: ‘The sky is blue on June afternoon’.

Mousy: What are you speaking about?

Froggy: What are you telling?

Chatty bird: ‘At five o’clock on a winter’s night

It’s high time to have a light’

Mousy: It is a morning now!

Chatty bird: ‘Do you hear the voices of the boys?

They are playing with their new toys’.

Froggy: I don’t hear anything!

Chatty bird: ‘Come nearer here, my dear!’

‘Take care, there’s a chair on the staer!’

Mousy: There is a very chatty bird in this forest!

Chatty bird: ‘Why didn’t you do what I told you to do?’

Froggy: Go quickly away!

14. At the shop

Mousy: Hello, Foxy!

Foxy: Hello, Mousy! Hello Froggy!

Mousy: What time is the shop open?

Foxy: At 10 o’clock. It is open. Come in, boys!

Mousy: We need cabbige, potatoes, carrot, onion and tomatoes.

Froggy: You have forgotten salt!

Mousy: Oh, yes! And salt!

Foxy: Have you got enough money?

Mousy: Yes, we have got enough money.

Foxy: Oh, it’s a good thing to have

A penny to lend,

A penny to spend

And a penny for a friend!

Mousy: Take money, Foxy!

Foxy: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. So here you are!

Froggy: Thanks a lot!

Foxy: Say my greetings to your mum!

15. Play together!

Mousy and Froggy go back and sing a song:

Potato, tomato,

A carrot and a beet,

All of them are vegetables

Mousy: Froggy! Let’s play!

Froggy: What game will we play?

Mousy: Let’s play football!

Froggy: There isn’t a ball in the forest!

Mousy: The cone will be a ball.

They meet Little Deer, Little Bear, Little Hare, Little Squirrel and the Hedgehog.

All the company: What are you doing?

Mousy and Froggy: We are going home.

All the company: Can we go with you together?

Mousy and Froggy: Yes, you can!

All the company goes to Mousy’s house.

16. Time to have dinner

Mousy’s mother: It’s high time to have dinner! But we haven’t yet cooked it! Where have you

been for so long?

Mousy: We wanted to play football!

Mousy’s mother: So, let’s cook dinner! Will you help us, dear friends?

Little Bear: Yes, I can cut a cabbige.

Little Deer: I can peel potatoes.

Little Hare: I can wash a carrot.

Little Squirrel: We are cooking very tasty soup!

The Hedgehog: It will be the best soup!

Froggy: We’ll call it ‘soup of friendship’!

Mousy’s mother: Help yourselves!

All the company: Thanks!

17. What can you do?

Mousy’s mother: What can you do else, my friends?

Little Hare: I can run.

Little Squirrel: I can jump.

Little Deer: I can ride.

The Hedgehog: I can roll.

Froggy: I can swim.

Little Bear: I can run and jump and swim. And I am the strongest!

All the company: Yes, you are!

Little Bear: But I am very kind!

All the company: Yes, you are the kindest!

Little Bear: It was great to be at you, Mousy! It is time to go home. Come on, everybody! We’ll

come to you next day for a cup of tea!

18. Birthday of Mousy

Mousy: Come to my place tomorrow, everybody! Tomorrow it is my birthday! We’ll drink tea

with raspberry and eat a tasty cake.

All the company: We’ll come to you, Mousy! And we’ll bring many gifts!

Little Bear: I’ll bring honey for you.

Little Squirrel: I’ll bring big and small nuts.

The Hedgehog: I’ll bring apples and plums.

Little Deer: And I’ll bring a very big pumpkin.

19. Happy birthday!

Froggy: Happy birthday, Mousy! There are many gifts for you!

Mousy: Come in, my dears!

Little Bear: I wish you to be big and strong!

Little Deer: I wish you to be the cleverest and the fastest!

Little Squirrel: I wish big happyness to you!

Little Hare: I wish many friends to you such as we are!

The Hedgehog: Be happy, dear Mousy!

Mousy: Thank you, my friends! Let’s dance now!

20. How old are you?

Froggy: How old are you, Mousy?

Mousy: I am seven.

Froggy: Will you go to school?

Mousy: Yes, I’ll go to school. And you?

Froggy: Yes, I will go too! I am eight.

Little Bear: We all will go to school!

Froggy: And you, Little Squirrel?

Little Squirrel: I am to young. I’ll go to school in two years. I am five now.

Mousy: What will we do at school?

Froggy: We’ll learn to read, to write and to count. We’ll learn the Alphabeth at first.

Mousy: We’ll be very smart!

Froggy: Are you ready for school, my friends?

All the company: Yes, we bought everything for school: books, pens, pencils, paints, paper and

flowers for a teacher!

Little Deer: I like to paint. I want to be a painter!

Little Hare: And I like to write. I want to be a writer!

The Hedgehog: I like to teach and to learn. I want to be a teacher!

Little Bear: And I dream to be a spaceman. But I like our forest. I want to save and defend our

forest!

21. The winter is coming

Froggy: Good morning, Mousy!

Mousy: Good morning, Froggy!

Froggy: I have met Little Squirrel today. He is sad.

Mousy: Why? Why is he sad?

Froggy: He is sad because he must change his beautiful red fur into grey one.

Mousy: Oh, Froggy! It is because winter is coming!

Froggy: Oh, yes, Mousy! I have seen the first snow today!

Mousy: Little Bear said to me that he will sleep all the winter in his house!

Froggy: Whom will we play with?

Mousy: We will play together. Stay at me till the spring!

Froggy: In spring our friends will wake up. And we will play again!
